Abstract
Pleomorphic xanthoastrocytoma (PXA) is an uncommon astrocytic lesion that—despite its significant histologic pleomorphism—generally behaves in a less aggressive fashion than similarly pleomorphic infiltrative gliomas; its behavior affords it a World Health Organization (WHO) grade II designation.
