Abstract

How do entrepreneurs make successful decisions?—It is not only their technical, trading and management competences.—Often, decisions are based on a “gut feeling” founded by personal values, virtues and ethics. In this article, the patterns behind successful decision-making competency is demonstrated and combined into a holistic and multidimensional management model (the integrative management approach). This approach both serves as cornerstone to enable corporate resilience while also providing a foundation for the BAT (best available technology) in the area of CSR and Sustainability.
