Abstract
Malpractice rates are falling around the country and around the world as physicians provide better care to sicker patients. Keys to this are awareness of the problems that generate malpractice cases. These are being highlighted the world over in medical literature and in medical societies. As surgeons apply principles of malpractice management they will generate fewer lawsuits and better patient care.
