Abstract
Uncertainty in the flux of neutrinos and antineutrinos is one of the dominant errors in any long baseline oscillation experiment. We present a set of calculations that estimate this uncertainty at the Near (ND) and Far (FD) detectors of the NO\(\nu \)A experiment. We outline a procedure which uses the ND measurements to provide an empirically constrained flux prediction at NO\(\nu \)A.
This study was conducted for NO\(\nu \)A Collaboration.
