Evidence-based medicine helps guide current practice. In this chapter, we will discuss which databases are best for evidence-based medicine searches, take note of popular evidence-grading schemas, and review standards for reporting of evidence. We will review resources for critical appraisal and a number of writing and publishing resources for your research project. Finally, we review journals which have a quality improvement focus.
