Abstract

The following articles are concerned with the Rationing Debate in Germany and the UK. The comparison between Germany and the UK is characterized by the different health-care systems, on the one hand an individualistic system (Germany) and on the other hand a utilitarian system. The German health-care system is especially characterized by the anchoring of Fundamental Rights.The following segment will provide an overview of the various issues that will then be discussed in detail by the individual articles.
