Abstract
Bacterial infections in the skin are suppurative processes that can be primary or secondary (when initial infections occur in organs other than the skin) [1–5]. The bacteria or fungi penetrate the skin and the primary skin colonization creates inflammation and suppuration that may lead to hematogenous dissemination with bacteremia and septicemia.
