Abstract
The hemodynamically stable trauma patient affords the trauma practitioner valuable time to consider a variety of treatment adjuncts. In this chapter, we will review the imaging modalities available for stable trauma patients. When caring for such patients, astute planning and a smooth transfer from the trauma bay, to the imaging department, and finally to definitive care improve patient care and maximize efficiency.
