Abstract

Dynamic analysis has been increasingly gaining importance over the last few years in the field of process design. Largely because novel process designs are more efficient, if the controllability is considered during the detailed engineering stage. By means of dynamic simulation, it is possible to monitor the behavior of the main process variables when subjected to disturbances typical of an industrial plant operation.
