Abstract
Holy Father and saint, author of numerous unconventional works. However, there is little information about his life, apart from the fact that he practiced the monastic life at a monastery in Meleniko and wrote his works during the second half of the fourteenth century. Callistos was primarily concerned with Thomas Aquinas’ scholastic philosophy and theology, which he tried to oppose.
