Abstract

A wide variety of complications, infectious and noninfectious, can occur in patients post hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT). The type of abnormality developed post HSCT depends on the type of transplant, conditioning regimen, and time-elapsed post transplant. Imaging plays a crucial role in detection and monitoring of post-transplant abnormalities. This chapter reviews imaging appearance of some of the most frequently encountered post-transplant pulmonary and abdominal complications.
