Abstract
We explore an ultrafast structural transformation in a Ge2Te2/Sb2Te3 superlattice, using pump-pump-probe spectroscopy. The coherent phonon spectra exhibit complex structural dynamics upon photo-excitation, being described as a mixing of two different Ge bonding configurations.
