Abstract

Structures of a supply chain nature are "multi-actor" systems. They grapple with the lack of synchronized tasks, the lack of internal rational and often cohesion as well as uncertainty. Modern supply chains are often a series of enterprises and actions that are weakly connected with each other. Enterprises are also more involved in the internal integration than the external cooperation within the framework of the supply chain. For this reason, designing the logistics processes in these types of structures seems to be an unusually difficult task. The aim of the article is to discuss the selected process modelling methods in the supply chain on the example of one of the coordination mechanisms, i.e. contracting.
