Abstract
A 35-year-old female patient, underwent an open cholecystectomy (after conversion) because of acute cholecystitis. At third postoperative day, she experienced increasing abdominal pain and leakage of bile-like fluid through the subcostal wound. A leakage of the stump of the cystic duct was diagnosed with an occluding bile stone distal in the CBD.
