Abstract
This chapter informs, applies, and integrates theories with national standards (including Career and College Readiness and the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), specific, content rich activity modules, and developmentally appropriate classroom strategies that offer teacher education candidates, university students, practitioners and teacher educators, practical, proven, and cost- effective methods that they can replicate in their Kdg-8 classrooms.
