Abstract
Integrating the Internet of Things (IoT) and Industry 4.0 has revolutionized industrial processes, creating innovative, more efficient, productive, and cost-effective intelligent factories. This chapter provides an in-depth analysis of the integration of IoT and Industry 4.0 and how it has transformed traditional manufacturing processes. The chapter provides a comprehensive overview of the concepts of IoT and Industry 4.0, highlighting each technology’s benefits. It then examines the different ways IoT and Industry 4.0 can be integrated, such as through sensors, big data analytics, and machine learning algorithms. The impact of this integration on various aspects of industrial processes is explored, such as supply chain management, logistics, and quality control.
