Abstract

Interventional endoscopy includes a series of minimally invasive techniques for hemostasis, polypectomy, resections and dissections, dilations, stenting, extraction of foreign bodies, and endoscopic gastrostomy/jejunostomy. The principles and indications for each procedure are briefly described in the following chapter.
