Abstract
Advanced endoscopy has rapidly emerged in the field of hepatology as a minimally invasive solution for diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. These techniques include upper gastrointestinal endoscopy for the diagnosis and management of gastric varices as well as endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) for the assessment of liver lesions and biliary pathology.
