Abstract
This chapter surveys crisis communication as it has been operationalized by a range of scholars in the field. Acknowledging and advancing existing approaches to crisis communication that reframe it as attentive, in the first place, to stakeholder needs, the chapter further offers examples of how ethical communicators might intervene effectively in conflicts and crises in Academia.
