Abstract
This chapter aims to discuss the different causes of facial pain, their diagnostic criteria and treatment options and conclude with an algorithm for facial pain assessment and management which we think would be practical and useful in day-to-day practice.
This initial section considers a systematic approach to the patient presenting with facial pain and is followed by a discussion of the various primary facial pain disorders.
