Abstract
Sjögren’s syndrome is a common rheumatic disease. Ultrasound of normal parotid and submandibular glands displays hyperechoic, homogeneous tissue while these glands typically appear in Sjögren’s syndrome hypoechoic with dark, round arease representing lymphoid tissue and dilated ducts.
