Abstract
A patient with a rheumatological inflammatory disorder usually presents with symptoms or signs including pain, stiffness, fatigue, weakness, or joint swelling. In rheumatology, history taking and physical examination are the fundamentals of the diagnostic process in which information from signs and symptoms has to be weighed in terms of positive and negative predictive values.
