Abstract
Probability is a way of expressing the likelihood of a particular event occurring, and we discuss discrete random variables; probability distributions such as the binomial and normal distributions; variance and standard deviation; confidence intervals; tests of significance; the central limit theorem; and Bayesian statistics.
