Abstract
Production is a set of technical and economic operations that use and transform production factors into goods. The production activity involves several stages that need to be analyzed through a system of production indicators whose purpose is to compare actual and expected results, to determine the degree of achievement of objectives, to identify the causal factors of certain anomalies and to establish optimization measures.
The analysis of production capacity and its structure is important because based on them the production plans and the need for production resources are drawn up, production reserves are established, production can be organized more efficiently, all of this leading to the improvement of collaboration with customers and suppliers.
This study aims to highlight the importance of production analysis by means of production indicators, in order to optimize the production activity of a company, in close correlation with the changes that may appear on the market in terms of demand.
