Abstract
The article discusses the digitalization of agriculture in Russia. The national economy, including agriculture, lags behind developed countries in terms of the introduction of modern digital technologies. This industry has great prospects for development. Ensuring the country's food security and increasing competitiveness on the world market require the transformation of agriculture into a high-tech industry capable of providing high-quality food to both the domestic and global markets. To do this, it is necessary to create conditions for attracting investments, introducing innovative developments and creating a digital agriculture system (DAS) in order to provide the population of Russia with high quality and safe products as a result. According to the authors, for the effective development of the agro-industrial complex of the country, it is necessary to create a digital agriculture system that will cover all regions of Russia. This includes the introduction at least six projects based on an complete innovative integrated scientific and technical cycle under the cross-cutting digital systems: Digital technologies in agricultural management, Digital land use, Smart Field, Smart Garden, Smart greenhouse, Smart Farm.
