Abstract
Foreign language communicative competence is formed in the course of practical organization of foreign language teaching, based on the introduction of the latest scientific and educational developments. A methodical concretization of a new goal of teaching foreign languages is performed on the basis of Russian Standards which define the requirements for the level of development of the expected competence in specific educational organizations. Goal of teaching a foreign language to students of technical specialties for the Agro-Industrial Complex is changing, and the organization of teaching is becoming competitive-based in nature. In addition, the appropriate development of the ability to an effective spoken interaction mainly is a condition for developing the general culture of the specialist’s personality taking into account his/her interests, motivations, values. In the course of study, we see a contradiction between the requirements for the level of development of speech etiquette skills of future specialists and the actual level of development of these abilities in a foreign language speech activity, which produces an objective need to develop these abilities among a new generation of personnel for the Agro-Industrial Complex. This stipulates the high relevance of teaching them speech etiquette.
