Abstract
In the closing chapter of this text, the authors raise the question about predicting the future of children today and developing a clinical psychology of resilience to insulate and protect the current generation and future generations long into the future. This chapter provides a brief review of the contents of this text, speaks to the current risks children face today, both pandemic and nonpandemic related, and proposes a framework for researching and applying resilience and resilience strategies in a preventive as well as a responsive framework.
