Abstract

This chapter contains questions on the treatment planning system (TPS) utilized in clinical radiation therapy departments. While there are a variety of systems used in radiation oncology, this chapter focuses on common elements of the TPS. The physicist is responsible for the commissioning and quality assurance aspects of the systems; therefore, the questions are developed with the goal of helping the reader assess their knowledge on these aspects of the TPS system.
