Abstract

This chapter discusses the nature of and treatment for pediatric post-traumatic stress disorder. The chapter starts with a discussion of clinical characteristics of the condition. Approaches to evidence-based assessment and cognitive-behavioral treatment are discussed. Future directions are highlighted.
