Abstract
Diagnostic tests are an essential component of medicine. Furthermore, some diagnostic tests allow for intervention. Diagnostics comprise of several components. Within urology, several investigations are commonly used and a good understanding of these will facilitate both optimal care for the patient and reduce the probability of medico-legal problems arising. This chapter covers diagnostics and medical errors, including case by case analysis.
