Abstract
Robotic surgery to solve full arch and complex reconstructive implant cases is an upcoming development in the dental community. This chapter will discuss a clinical case with the use of YOMI robotics, and the steps taken for successful zygomatic implantation. Robotic surgery helps improve the platform positioning of implants in a more restorable and functional manner. In this chapter we clarify the ways we have found to improve implant therapy with robotic guidance. Due to the newly developed nature of robotics in oral surgery, and its use in full arch and zygomatic implants, we provide insight on an upcoming development in renowned patient care. More zygomatic fixtures will be placed using robots as technologies and software develop, resulting in an efficient workflow and more accurate results in dental medicine. With this development, surgeons will build their expertise with precise zygomatic and full arch reconstruction in hopes of making the future of robotic implantation a common surgical practice.
