Abstract
Simulation based training has become a vital component in healthcare education at all levels of training. Many medical schools incorporate simulation throughout the curriculum and, increasingly, simulation is being utilized in GME programs to ensure that core competencies are being met. Simulation based training can provide for standardized experiences, repeatable and deliberate practice, and experience with low frequency events.
