Abstract

The problems of transformation of the management of production systems and processes under the influence of the global digitalization trend are examined in the paper. The need for the development of new management concepts in the context of digitalization is discussed, as well as the possibilities of using digital technologies to build more efficient production systems. Some new approaches to building and management of production systems are analyzed, including digital twins, smart production systems, flexible production systems, etc. The main benefits and challenges for their implementation in the activities of modern businesses are highlighted. The areas for further research related to the readiness of enterprises for the digital transformation of production systems from the perspective of management are determined.
