Abstract

Biometric technologies are turning into the foundation of an extensive array of personal identification and verification solutions, which are highly secure. There is therefore the increasing need for personal identification and verification technologies that are highly secure as the level of security breaches and transaction fraud increases. Due to multimodal biometric systems making use of multiple biometric identifiers, each and every identifier can offer supplementary evidence regarding the authenticity of an identity claim, thereby bringing about a sense of increased reliability in recognition.
