Abstract
Despite the best training efforts, HIT processes and procedures may drift from how health care professionals were originally trained. This chapter identifies methods of ongoing learning and training practices that can ensure minimal practice drift. It is also important to maintain and update training content when ongoing HIT changes impacts the learning context. Finally, best practices for managing workarounds are reviewed.
