Abstract

Evaluation is a key contributor to the success of a training project. Evaluation begins when the initial performance problem is identified and the need for training has been established. Rather than a process completed at the end of training, evaluation is conducted throughout the analysis, design, development, and delivery phases of a training project and continues past the delivery of the training solution. In this chapter, numerous evaluation models are presented along with many tips and tools that support a robust training evaluation process.
