Abstract

The interaction between living organisms and the environment via the flows of atoms of chemical elements and their compounds provides the basis for geochemical ecology, one of the most important sciences, considering the dramatic increase of human influence to the environment due to industrial revolution that reveals the great public impact of ecological issues nowadays. The article presents a modern view on the issues of geochemical ecology in the biosphere taxons that are affected by a continuous technogenic modification.
