About the editor

Prof. A.Mersel is associate professor at the Hadassah Faculty of Dental Medicine and a Specialist in Oral Rehabilitation. He acted as Director of Complete Dentures and Gerodontics, and was the Founder and Chair of the European College of Gerodontology. Prof. Mersel was appointed Convenor and Chair of the FDI Section of Gerodontolgy and the former  Director for FDI Europe Continuing Education Program. He currently serves as Senior Research Fellow at the Faculty of Dental Medicine Department Community Dentistry Jerusalem, and as Director of Studies at The Geneva Institute of  Medical Dentistry. Dr. Mersel published 105 scientific articles, 3 Chapters in Textbooks and recently a book: Oral Rehabilitation for Compromised and Elderly Patients.
