Abstract

Technology, in its many forms, has become an inseparable component of daily life. Technological advancements and digitalization are also responsible for a wide range of changes at the workplace. Currently, technology is an integral aspect of corporate life, with a wide range of factors driving and enabling it, including socio-economic structures, ecosystems, lobbying, organizational cultures, and wider corporate phenomena. New work arrangements become increasingly commonplace, along with new labor-market structures, improved processes, and new business models—with some of them being disruptive. At the same time, consumers are increasingly tech-savvy, whereas, they demand seamless digital experiences and instant responses to their needs.
