Abstract

Angiosarcoma (AS) is a rare and highly aggressive tumor derived from vascular endothelial cells, predisposing the skin and superficial soft tissues. Cutaneous lesion is the most common presentation. Cutaneous angiosarcoma (cAS) is difficult to diagnose in the early stage because of its appearance for an ecchymosis or haematoma at clinical grounds alone. The histopathology and immunohistochemistry are necessary to render or confirm the diagnosis of cAS. Here we reported a case of cAS on scalp and face in an elderly patient, and review the related literature briefly.
