Abstract
The development of the fishery complex of the Kaliningrad region today is one of the actual directions of development of the region, which is based on the process of increasing and satisfying the growing demand of the region and the country as a whole for food and other products, the region is also entering the world level of product sales. Due to the unique location of the Kaliningrad region, the development of the fishery complex is one of the backbone areas in the field of agriculture and fisheries. Effective development of management mechanisms in the fishing industry con-tributes to the competitiveness of the region in all-Russian and international markets.
The present article reviews the current state and structure of the fishery complex of the Kaliningrad region, analyzes the dynamics of the main indicators characterizing the efficiency of the industry as a whole, based on which the main recommendations are given to solve the problems formed in the given period of time.
