Abstract

When dealing with an unstable lens, the source of the damage to the zonular apparatus may have started a long time prior to the operation or occurred during the surgical procedure. Depending on the degree and severity of damage, different techniques and auxiliary instruments and devices can help compensate for these difficulties and result in a successful operative outcome.
