About this book

This book provides insights into IoT, its applications, and various implementation techniques. The authors first discuss the IoT design methodology to define the domain model. About the editors

Dr. Nidhi Sindhwani is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amity School of Engineering and Technology, Amity University, Noida, India. She has teaching experience of more than 14 years. She has received her BE degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering in 2004 and ME degree in Signal Processing in 2008, both from Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak, India. She has received her Ph.D (ECE) from UCOE, Punjabi University Patiala, India in 2018. Her Current research interest includes Wireless Networks and Communication, IOT, Machine learning and Signal Processing. She has published numerous papers with good impact factor in reputed International Journal and Conferences. She is also the lifetime member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).

 

Dr. Rohit Anand is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at G.B.Pant Engineering College (Government of NCT of Delhi), New Delhi, India. He has done his Ph.D. (ECE) from IKG Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab, India. He has teaching experience of more than 19 years including UG and PG Courses. He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE). He has published 6 book chapters in reputed books and 12 papers in Scopus/SCI Indexed Journals. He is presently a reviewer in many of the reputed and highly indexed International Journals. He has chaired a Session in two International Conferences. His research areas include IoT, Electromagnetic Field Theory, Antenna Theory and Design, Wireless Communication, Image Processing, Optical Fiber Communication etc.  

 

Dr. Niranjanamurthy M, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Applications, M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bangalore, Karnataka. He did Ph.D. Computer Science at JJTU, Rajasthan (2016), MPhil-Computer Science at VMU, Salem (2009), MCA at VTU, Belgaum, Karnataka(2007). BCA from Kuvempu University 2004 with University 5th Rank. He has 11* years of teaching experience and 2 years of industry experience as a Software Engineer. He has published 5 books in Scholars Press Germany. He has published 60 papers in various National / International Conferences / International Journals. He filed 15 Patents in that 3 granted. Currently he is guiding four Ph.D. research scholars in the area of Data Science, ML, and Networking. He is working as a reviewer in 22 International Journals. Two times got Best Research journal reviewer award. He Got Young Researcher award- Computer Science Engineering - Global Outreach Education Awards 2018. He has worked as National/ International Ph.D. examiner. He has conducted various National Level workshops and delivered Lectures. He has conducted National and International Conferences associated with various professional bodies: IEEE Member, Life Membership of “International Association of Engineers” (IAENG), Membership of “Computer Science Teachers Association” (CSTA). His areas of interest are Data Science, ML, E-Commerce and M-Commerce related to Industry Internal tool enhancement, Software Testing, Software Engineering, Web Services, Web-Technologies, Cloud Computing, Big data analytics, Networking..

 

Dr. Dinesh Chander Verma is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Applications at Panipat Institute of Engineering and Technology, Panipat, Haryana, India. He has teaching experience of more than 18 years including UG and PG Courses. His qualifications are MCA, M.Phil, M.Tech(IT), and Ph.D(Computer Science and Engineering). He is a Life Member of Indian Society for Information Theory and Applications (ISITA). He has authored 2 books, 16 research papers in Scopus/UGC Care/ESCI indexed journals, 1 book chapter in Scopus indexed book. He has conducted many FDPs and also chaired sessions in International conferences. His research areas include MANET, IoT, Big data, Machine Learning etc.  

 

Dr. Valentina Emilia Balas Qualification: Experience in years:25 in academia. College : Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad, Romania Address (working place ): B-dul Revolutiei 77, 310130 Arad, Romania Research Area: Intelligent Systems, Soft Computing, Fuzzy Control, Modeling and Simulation. Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor in the Department of Automatics and Applied Software at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 270 research papers in refereed journals and International Conferences. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing, Smart Sensors, Information Fusion, Modeling and Simulation. She is the Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to International Journal of Computational Systems Engineering (IJCSysE), member in Editorial Board member of several national and international journals and is evaluator expert for national, international projects and PhD Thesis. Dr. Balas is the director of Intelligent Systems Research Centre in Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and Director of the Department of International Relations, Programs and Projects in the same university. She served as General Chair of the International Workshop Soft Computing and Applications (SOFA) in eight editions 2005-2018 held in Romania and Hungary. Dr. Balas participated in many international conferences as Organizer, Honorary Chair, Session Chair and member in Steering, Advisory or International Program Committees. She is a member of EUSFLAT, SIAM and a Senior Member IEEE, member in TC – Fuzzy Systems (IEEE CIS), member in TC – Emergent Technologies (IEEE CIS), member in TC – Soft Computing (IEEE SMCS). Dr. Balas was pastVice-president (Awards) of IFSA International Fuzzy Systems Association Council (2013-2015) and is a Joint Secretary of the Governing Council of Forum for Interdisciplinary Mathematics (FIM).
