Abstract

This chapter will provide an exegetical analysis of John 20:19–29 and how Jesus stood beside, encouraged, challenged, and strengthened His followers for the impending difficulties they would face. This chapter provides current leaders with the Biblical principles to successfully lead and support followers during organizational challenges. As they navigate challenges, Christian leaders can uphold the Biblical values Jesus embodied during difficult times while moving the mission and vision of their organization forward. As leaders begin applying the example of Jesus and implementing His leadership style during times of adversity, they can positively impact the organization and its followers.
