Abstract

The author examines the current security concerns of Poland and Romania regarding Russia’s policy and the consequences for arms control and strategic stability in Europe. The coercive actions of Russia in the Baltic and Black Sea regions has increased the sense of insecurity and unpredictability within the Polish and Romanian states made them to their efforts for enhancing defense and deterrent capability of NATO Eastern Flank.
