Abstract
The “Manéa” is a multimedia-based training device that boosts mental ability and helps prevent cognitive disabilities. It has a series of games and exercises to train different areas of the brain. Its training exercises require the use of both hands and also develop both sides of the brain. The main screen is a curved OLED display with audio feedback that gives directions and hints. The side grips are rubberized for soft handling and long term comfort during activities. The input for interaction is located in a spherical shape, which is a soft surface that is pressed to progress through the activities. As the user progresses, the device will recognize and learn to strengthen weak areas of learning or motor control.
