Abstract
Abrasion strength plays a very important role in prolonging the working life of the machine details. This paper presents research on the recovery welding process for shaft parts made of C45 steel by electric resistance welding with C70 filler metal wire. The study results showed that after recovery details are fully working features equivalent to new details a: The abrasion strength of shaft parts after recovery welding is 1.24 ÷ 1.44 times higher than the new shaft made from high frequency hardened C45 steel. An optimal set of welding parameters obtained after the Taguchi analysis and the variance analysis was used for the experimental welding of this study.
