Abstract

The article considers the problems of strengthening the foundations of buildings in the permafrost zone in connection with global warming. In the case of using principle 1, schemes for strengthening the bases are proposed for the construction of vertical and inclined seasonal cooling device (SCD). In case of plastic-frozen high-temperature base soils, it is also possible to transfer the base to a thawed state as a result of injection of cement mortar into the soil, which implies the transfer of foundations from the first principle to the second. In all cases, the reinforcement should be based on the temperature and deformation calculations of the “freezing (thawing) base—building” system.
