Advances in Manufacturing III (MANUFACTURING 2022)

Abstract

The article presents the environmental assessment of an exemplary product (plastic box). The article outlines the concepts of eco-innovation and eco-design. The evolution of the product life cycle concept is also presented. The LCA method, its structure and applied metrics were characterized. The analysis was carried out in two IT tools that are modules of 3D CAD systems: Eco Materials Adviser (Autodesk Inventor module) and SolidWorks Sustainability.
