Abstract

This chapter equips educators with culturally responsive antiracist practices for the Multiracial population. In addition to a summary of the relevant Multiracial literature, including identity development models and common microaggressions that occur with this population, this chapter explores ways to assess personal antiracist identity, pedagogy, and change language and interactions to support antiracist cultural responsiveness and interventions for educating and working with Multiracial people. The conclusion includes a summary of key strategies when working with the Multiracial population and serves as a call to action for readers to advocate and model antiracist culturally responsive practices and provides discussion questions and quiz questions to underscore the content.
